Well we’re back home now and I’m happy to report that it all went fairly smoothly.
Jonathan was scheduled second on the afternoon list of operations, which meant that we only went in with him at 16h00.
By that time we’d been starving the poor little fellow for 6.5 hours but he was very good [...]
Tomorrow is finally the day on which Jonathan is going to get his lip repaired at Great Ormond Street Hospital. (The earliest they would do the surgery is at 3 months but we got them to hold off because of our holiday to SA.)

Jonathan and I have been home from SA since Sunday morning, but it’s taken both of us a little time to get back into the old routine.
